WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Mankind

August 22, 1999 - August 23, 1999

Mankind's third and final reign as WWE Champion proved to be one of the shortest in history, as he only held the title for approximately 24 hours.

His victory, however, was stuff of legend, as he turned back both Triple H and then-WWE Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam. The match also featured Jesse "The Body" Ventura as special referee.

The next night on Monday Night Raw, Mankind lost the WWE Championship to Triple H.
