United States Championship - Ricky Steamboat

August 24, 1994 - September 18, 1994

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat had what many consider to be one of the greatest careers in the history of sports-entertainment. In his final great rivalry, Steamboat battled Steve Austin over the United States Championship. In Aug. 1994, Steamboat defeated Austin for the U.S. Championship. He held the title for almost one month, before a back injury forced him to forfeit it back to WCW, who turned around and returned it to Austin.
