Since losing the Intercontinental Championship to Test, Edge had won the Unites States Championship, so this Intercontinental Championship re-match was a unification match with the winner getting both titles. Test managed to hit his Pump Handle Slam, but Edge kicked out and came back with his spear. After a nice roll up, Edge walked out of Survivor Series as the U.S. and Intercontinental Champion.
