As the field of hopefuls for the Season 12 Mirror Ball Trophy whittles down on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho needs your help to bring the trophy home to Monday Night Raw against stiff competition, including two-time Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward.

Jericho put out a video appeal to the WWE Universe Friday on Twitter, asking our fans worldwide for their support and their votes tonight and every Monday. (WATCH VIDEO)

“It’s getting down to crunch time and I need [the WWE Universe] to vote,” Jericho said. “No matter whether you loved me or hated me on Raw or SmackDown, remember that I did everything I did for you, for your entertainment ... and made sure you always got your money’s worth. Do me the favor of returning that, and voting for Chris Jericho.”

Some in the WWE Universe are taking the battle for the Mirror Ball Trophy a little more personal. On Friday, WWE.com’s Joey Styles encouraged our fans via Twitter to consider Dancing a war between the WWE Universe and “Steeler Nation,” the worldwide fan base of the Steelers supporting Ward. “There’s a lot of chatter about [Ward] outlasting [Jericho] on Dancing With The Stars, because the Steeler Nation is bigger than the WWE Universe. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! First, win a Super Bowl fellas! Don’t choke in front of 40 million TV viewers, then come back and tell me you can take on the WWE Universe!,” Styles exclaimed. “So right now, I am imploring every WWE fan in every corner of the world to vote for Chris Jericho Monday night from your phone, while watching Tough Enough, so we can send Hines Ward, Kirstie Alley, and all those other pseudo-celebrities that I’ve never heard of home!”

You can vote up to 10 times via phone or text message as the show airs in your local time zone, and unlimited times on the show's website during the voting period.

Jericho remarked that, on Dancing, he has become “an ambassador” for WWE, showing the public the range of talent that WWE’s roster possesses. His appearances on various talk shows, such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno also showcase those entertaining qualities.

“The longer that I stay on Dancing With The Stars, the better it is for the entire WWE Universe,” Jericho explained. “All of these people are starting to understand what it is that we do as WWE Superstars, and why the WWE Universe is so loyal,” Jericho said.

In his video, Jericho also reminded the WWE Universe that he’s not through with his WWE career.

“When I come back to WWE after this show is done, we can continue where we left off. So please vote for Jericho, because I’m still the best in the world at what I do,” Jericho implored.
