Cleveland Cavaliers channel ‘Stone Cold’, party with New Day after NBA Finals win

After the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Championship Sunday night, the Cavs channeled “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for the post-game celebration, with a Smoking Skull Title and Kevin Love’s classic “Austin 3:16” shirt.

Love even did “Stone Cold salutes” in the locker room immediately after the Cavs’ shocking 93-89 victory in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

The forward pulled in 14 rebounds in the deciding game, helping his squad become the first team to overcome a three games to one deficit in the NBA Finals.

Love wasn’t the first Cavs player to wear a WWE-related shirt during the Finals. LeBron James sported an Undertaker T-shirt before Game 5 of the unforgettable series.

Center Timofey Mozgov, forward Tristan Thompson and guard JR Smith all partied in the locker room with Usher, Jamie Foxx and a Smoking Skull Championship after the game.

But WWE-related celebration didn’t end when the Cavs left Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. The Cavaliers traveled to Las Vegas — the host city of WWE Money in the Bank — where Love ran into The New Day.

After the brief stay in Vegas, the victorious Cavs arrived in Cleveland, with NBA Finals MVP LeBron James sporting an Ultimate Warrior shirt. And this is all before Triple H sent a customized WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Cleveland.
