Triple H sends custom WWE Title to IPL champions Mumbai Indians
It has been a year of championship glory for cricket’s Mumbai Indians and their captain, Rohit Sharma. In addition to winning an unprecedented third Indian Premier League (IPL) title, they can now claim ownership of their first-ever custom WWE Championship, courtesy of WWE and Triple H.
After the Indians bested the Rising Pune Supergiant in the IPL finals last May, Triple H tweeted to them that “WWE has something headed your way.” The Game proved to be a man of his word on early Thursday morning, taking to Twitter to congratulate the IPL champions once more, and provide a glimpse of their custom title.

The Indians and Sharma wasted no time showing off their newly minted championship on Twitter (@mipaltan) and Instagram. Within 24 hours, the team posted images of their team captain holding the coveted prize.

With their third IPL title, Sharma and the Mumbai Indians are more than living up to their team credo #CricketMeriJaan (“Cricket is My Life”). And now they have some WWE hardware to support it.
