JBL's Weekly Column for 7/10
I must admit, I loved the World Cup event I went to in Germany. I loved it so much that I watched the finals. I never would have dreamed I would be watching soccer on a Sunday afternoon. Of course, I wouldn't have dreamed too long ago that I would be retired today.
I thought France deserved to lose. Henry didn't finish the game, and Zidane made a stupid play that got him disqualified. So congrats to Italy for winning the 2006 World Cup.
Also, congrats to Roger Federer for only losing one set on his way to a Wimbledon victory, Roger may go down as one of the best ever. Now, if he could just find a way to beat Nadal on clay.
I am looking forward to the Great American Bash, the PPV that I won the WWE Championship from my good friend Eddie Guerrero. I believe that King Booker has stolen the show lately on Smackdown, he has just been awesome.
Now, with Batista back and with Mark Henry stepping up the way he has, we have a pretty full roster again. Rey Mysterio has done a great job of carrying the championship.
Check out my last article on the Street.com about the video game sector and find out ways to make money off of it. And, check out my last radio show where I interviewed Bob Cornucke who has spent twenty years searching for Noah's Ark, and he believes he may have just found it. It was a fascinating interview.
I thought the fight with Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz was stopped way too quickly. I didn't think Kenny was in trouble enough to stop the fight.
I had a great weekend of golf last weekend with some friends in the UK, I now get a chance to have a normal life of golf and too much food on the weekend.
