"Words of wisdom are woven like a spider..."

While walking, or in my case, sauntering, through the Scottrade Center in St. Louis for Judgment Day, I was doing some long division in my head -- merely to entertain myself -- when I happened to come across a sight that sent chills down my spine.
 
This sight -- this image -- had such power over me. It took me away to a time almost forgotten -- to the Meadowlands, to the Omni, to Xanadu! This vision conjured up images of personalities that have shaped my way and my life.
 
The item that lay before me reminded me of my abilities. It reminded me that VERY FEW live and breathe the way that I do.
 
It confirmed for me that only a mere handful of people are capable of what I so humbly possess: The ability to speak the way that I do, to move the way that I do, to exist the way that only I can!!
 
This object that sat before my big, blue eyes represented all that is truly woven into the very fabric of my being.
 
It represented talent, passion and desire!
 
It represented GOD-given gifts to my world such as: Eddie Gilbert, "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant, The Masked Superstar and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
 
Before my eyes beamed a sunrise. I blinked rapidly as I stood fixed in my position at the reflection that it cast. For this object was -- and always will be -- a trademark to the perennial champion, to the man whose very existence embodies this great sport.
 
I stood transfixed at the grandiose garment that is the robe of "Nature Boy" Ric Flair!
 
As I stared and dared to reach my hand to touch it -- only to pull away for I am not worthy -- I was reminded that only two things in my life WILL NEVER WAVER:
 
1. The unconditional love and forgiveness of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
 
2. My undying love for this great sport of professional wrestling!!
 
That moment screamed for ME to remind YOU of this: There is a fire that burns inside of ALL OF US -- and I, my friends, am a RAGING INFERNO!!
 
Get ready kids, because as the song says, "We've only just begun...."
 
(Technically, "began" would be correct English. But for this moment, I'll make an exception.)
 
I dream the impossible, for there is nothing that I cannot do. For I am Matt Striker, your teacher.
