Kane spreads atmos-fear across the U.K.

Last week, Kane made a whirlwind media tour through the United Kingdom, both to promote SummerSlam and to blaze a trail for WWE's live event tours that will invade the UK this coming November. PHOTOS

Over the three-day period, the often-antisocial Big Red Machine actually served as a strong ambassador for WWE, participating in two television interviews, three radio interviews, 11 print interviews, eight online interviews, one photo interview and one CSR engagement.

Among his notable stops, Kane was a live studio guest on BBC Radio 1, Saturday's highest rated lunchtime radio show in the UK. The live interview touched on WWE's upcoming pay-per-view and November live events to millions of listeners in the U.K.

Kane was also included in a skit with Soccer AM's regular interviewee Tubes. The piece will promote SummerSlam to a key audience of  one million young males interested in sport on the weekend of the event.

Furthermore, the sinister Superstar sat in on The Gethin Jones Show on Radio 5 Live, an interview that reached more than four million listeners.

In addition, thanks to Kane's always-dominating presence, WWE secured time on Sky News Radio for the first time. Sky News provides content, not only for their own station, but for more than 300 other radio stations across the U.K.

Among his many other engagements during the tour, Kane took the time to meet with a winner from last year's annual WrestleMania Reading Challenge. This served as a prelude to the 2009-2010 Reading Challenge with the National Literacy Trust.
