The Post Standard/Herald-Journal

Never underestimate the wrestling world.

Former wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has become a bona-fide movie star. Now John Cena bids for film fame in The Marine.

The action flick casts him as a heroic U.S. Marine who comes home from the war in Iraq, only to have to go into action again when his wife (Kelly Carlson) is kidnapped. The perpetrators are members of a murderous gang led by Rome (Robert Patrick).

The director is John Bonito, who earned praise for his action- based TV sports campaigns.
