Thankful for Survivor Series
Hey everybody, it's CM Punk here. It's less than one week shy from my WWE pay-per-view debut at Survivor Series. It's something I'm very excited about.
I grew up watching Survivor Series as a kid. It happened to be one of my favorite pay-per-views, seeing everybody teaming up against all their enemies--which happens to be exactly what I am doing Sunday. I got a little taste of Survivor Series last night on Raw, teaming with DX and the reunited Hardy Boyz, which was also very cool. Being on Raw was a little bit different than ECW, and I'm not going to say it was better. It's still a live show. There is still a lot of excitement and lots of electricity in the air, and I just cannot wait to get in the ring and compete against Edge, Randy Orton, the Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms, former Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro, and Mike Knox again.
There are just so many things that are swimming through my head right now. I'm also going to use Survivor Series -- the big match pay-per-view and big match feel -- as a crash course in how to compete in a big match, since I will be competing in the Elimination Chamber on Dec. 3.
It is also time to tell everybody Happy Thanksgiving. It's not exactly something I really celebrate, but I do love to eat. I always say I work out to support my eating habit. So I can't wait to be back home in Chicago and see Chaleen and Cassie, and to eat a whole bunch of food that's probably really bad for me. So everybody out there, have a Happy Thanksgiving.
