Ask Mickie ...
WWE Superstars and Divas live their lives on the road -- a lifestyle that can be trying in a plethora of ways. For one, some are forced to carry a pocket-sized dictionary simply to look up rhetoric from halfwits who insist on using polysyllabic words when smaller terms could easily be substituted without losing the meaning of the sentence or phrase.
Although quite annoying, that's the least of their concerns.
Oftentimes, being immersed in the non-stop marathon of competition that is WWE -- a no off-season industry -- it's only natural that Superstars' and Divas' thoughts become consumed with how to become a better performer or a more-skilled grappler. That can lead to problems, says ring veteran Mickie James.
"A friend of mine once gave me a plaque that read, ‘Don't get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life,'" she said. "It's a reminder that you only live once and you have to enjoy life. It's hard not to let something slip between the cracks and get distracted by things going on in life. When that starts to happen, and you're feeling stressed out, it's okay to ask someone for help; you have to learn to lean on other people. Some people take that as weakness, but I feel the opposite -- it's the people who cannot confide in others are weak."
With that said, Mickie is offering her services if you (yes, you) need an electronic ear for advice. If you have questions on life, love, exercise, relationships, and pretty much any other problem, conundrum, puzzle or pickle, she's willing to read and respond.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm no doctor. And I won't be able to answer every question, but from my experiences and from seeing as much as I have since I became a WWE Diva I feel I have good advice to offer. I want to try to help people who seriously want help," she continued. "If you want to treat this as a joke, or as a way to just chit-chat, it's not the forum to do so. I won't be answering individual e-mails; I'll be using WWE.com as my outlet to respond."
