Diva Dish: Around the world with the Divas

In this week's Diva Dish, Candice Michelle mingles at the MTV Video Music Award's Verizon Wireless Style Villa in California, Maria recalls her trip to Japan and shares her Midwest weekend plans, Lilian Garcia celebrates her adventurous birthday in Mexico, and Kelly Kelly and Candice Michelle take a whirlwind tour of Italy and Spain.

A-list loot
Candice Michelle
was recently a special guest at the MTV VMA's Verizon Wireless Style Villa at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. Along with other sports, film, music and television celebrities, the Diva enjoyed trying out products from Urban Decay, Apple Bottoms, Dermalogica and Shaklee's Vivix, as well as trying out the turntables in Patron's Music in Motion suite. "I got gifts from K-Swiss. I got the new Pictionary Man, which sounds like it's for a kid, but it isn't. It's the most fun game ever," Candice Michelle told Diva Dish. "I got everything from A to Z. I got Dermalogica products and Verizon hooked me up with a phone. I got three pairs of True Religion jeans and jean shoes. That was really exciting because I love True Religion!"

The Raw Diva's favorite part of the day wasn't just the Style Villa loot. She enjoyed hobnobbing with other Hollywood A-Listers, such as The Hills' Audrina Patridge and 90210's Jessica Stroup.

"Just to be there and to mingle with all the celebrities and all the people involved with the VMAs was a really great way for WWE to be incorporated there. To be a part of it was really exciting," she said.

Globetrotting Diva
Maria's
recent trip to Japan was everything the Diva expected and more … including the culture shock. (PHOTOS)

"There are people who speak English, but there aren't that many out there. I've been there a couple of times before, but every time, it's just a shock to me!" she said.

But, don't mistake the SmackDown Diva's unique experience for one of dislike. Maria adores traveling to Japan and seeing our fans.

"I's a great country. It really is. They're so respectful. Everybody bows when you say ‘Thank you.' It's nice to be appreciated in that kind of way," she said.

"They get so excited in Japan because they don't have us coming over every week. It's once a year we visit Japan. So, our Japanese fans are appreciative when we come over. It was an exciting event and it was nice to share SummerSlam with the Japanese fans."

Of course, the fashionista Diva took some time to admire the hip and happening style of the Japanese youth.

"It was nice to see all the different fashions over there.  There were a lot of baby doll dresses. They love socks over there, all different kinds of socks. There's a lot of mismatch," she recalled. "Japanese love all the different colors and to be bright. They all kind of have this natural, model stomping walk, which is really cool, too."

But, now that Maria is back Stateside, she has exciting plans for this weekend, which she couldn't resist sharing with Diva Dish.

"I'm going to a concert -- O.A.R. -- which is one of my favorite bands. I'm also going to a sushi restaurant, which is my favorite, in Louisville, it's called Sapporo. It's always nice to go back to ‘the 'ville.' I spent so much time there, so it's nice to go back. It kind of feels like another home," she said.

"From there I'm going to see my sister at college and have lunch with her. That's in Champaign. After that I'm going to Chicago and I'm going to hang out there. Saturday, I'm going to a Cubs game. Go, Cubs, go! I hope they kick butt this week because if they do, that means they're going on, so I'm excited about that!"

On a side note, Maria had a message for fellow SmackDown Diva, Natalya, who recently had some choice words for Maria's dog, Gemini, in Diva Dish.

"P.S.: I'm very upset about Ms. Natalya's comments about my dog. (READ NATALYA'S COMMENTS) He informed me he will bite Natalya's face off! Also, I heard Natalya has some dogs, or maybe her family has doggers, but Gemini can hold his own. He may be a small dog, but back him into a corner and you never know what might happen. I would say, Natalya, watch out." (WATCH VIDEO OF MARIA AND GEMINI)

Adventures in Cozumel
Lilian Garcia
recently celebrated her birthday with some fun -- and adventure -- on the on the sunny shores of Cozumel, Mexico. The Raw ring announcer's days were packed with memorable excursions, such as ziplining through the jungle, snorkeling with whale sharks and touring the island on a scooter. (PHOTOS)

"I'm a big scuba diver. I've been scuba diving for 11 years now. I love wreck dives. There was a ship called the C53. I did the ship and what was great about it, unlike other ships I've done, you can usually only scuba dive on the outside, but this one you could go through. So it was really neat to see," she said.

"I also snorkeled with a whale shark. They can get up to 30 feet -- they're enormous!" she said. "It was tremendous. You can get so close to them, but they don't have teeth. They're not like your typical shark."

Garcia had such a fantastic time in Cozumel, she didn't want to return home to New York City.

"It was a hard one to come back from. Usually when I go on vacation, I'm ready to come back. But, for some reason, from that vacation, I was still in such an adrenaline mode, from experiencing the scuba diving, to the scooters, to the zipline, to the whale sharks, I was just in adventure land. I wasn't ready to come back, but I'm back!"

Whirlwind tour
To help promote WWE's upcoming tour of Europe, Candice Michelle and Kelly Kelly recently visited Italy and Spain. It was a trip that only made the Raw Divas' friendship grow stronger. (PHOTOS)

"We spent a lot of time together and we had this little sis', big sis' thing going on. It was so cute. We had such a great time together. We have so much in common. I totally feel like she's my big sister. She taught me so much on that trip alone. She's teaching me the ropes," Kelly Kelly told Diva Dish.

"We had a really good time. It was really, really hectic. We had to travel every day. We went to Barcelona, we went to Rome, which was unbelievable, and we went to Milan," Candice recalled.

The Divas bonded over sightseeing, shopping and indulging in some of Europe's finest cuisine.

"A lot of people asked me, ‘How do you train and stay fit?' I was like, ‘Well, when you're in Italy, I guess you don't! You just enjoy the pastas.'" Candice laughed.

"The only time we had to relax was at dinner. One night I ordered two different pasta dishes and Kelly Kelly ordered a whole pizza by herself! For two of us -- and we're pretty little -- we scarfed all the food down!" the former Women's Champion said. "Afterwards, we had to have gelato because we were in Italy. We got like three flavors in a cup! We really got to experience the food, which was really awesome."
