This week's Most Extreme Player is the greatest underdog in the history of pro wrestling, Rey Mysterio.

The former World Champion is once again the No. 1 contender for that same title. I am sure there were doubters when the stage was set for Rey to face first The Animal, Batista and the Fighting Irishman, Finlay. I can tell you that I never doubted that Rey would become first in line to face The Great Khali for the gold. I first saw Rey's enormous talent in the original ECW, and knew that the sky was the limit for him. Despite the fact that The Great Khali is two feet taller than Rey and outweighs Rey by more than 250 pounds, deep down I believe that Mysterio can make lightning strike twice and become World Champion once again.
