How can this week's MEP be anyone but the greatest professional wrestler ever to grace the squared circle, Ric Flair?

At WrestleMania XXIV, I was fortunate enough to be one of over 74,000 WWE fans who witnessed the final match in what was an unparalleled 36-year career. I, like many others, watched with tears in my eyes as the "Nature Boy" thanked the live audience and television viewers watching worldwide before walking the aisle back to the locker room for the final time.

Growing up, despite living about a mile from WWE headquarters in Stamford, Conn., unlike all of my friends who were Hulkamaniacs, I was a Ric Flair fanatic. I idolized everything about the 16-time World Champion: His style, his charisma, his ability to always come out on top.

Ric Flair retired with the same class and dignity with which he competed for over three and a half decades. His Hall of Fame induction, his final match at WrestleMania and his farewell on RAW will be forever burned into my memory.
