The final MEP before WrestleMania 23 this Sunday is ECW's own CM Punk.

The straightedge Superstar scored the biggest victory of his young career on SmackDown against one of his Money in the Bank opponents, King Booker. The importance of this win for CM Punk cannot be overstated as Booker is a former WCW World Champion and WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Therefore, the case can be made and should be made that Punk is a worthy contender for any of WWE's three singles world championships.

In fact, in my gut, I feel that one day CM Punk will be one of WWE's championship-clad standard bearers. In fact, CM Punk could be a world champion much sooner than later if he wins the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania this Sunday.
