Most Extreme Player for 2/15/07
This week's MEP is none other than ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley. In his first-ever Extreme Rules Match, our powerhouse of a champion, prevailed over 14-year veteran Hardcore Holly -- who has most likely competed in more than 100 Hardcore/Extreme Rules matches. Despite being assaulted with a steel chair throughout the match, Lashley showed the resilience to fight through the pain and punishment.
In the closing moments of the match, Lashley showed uncanny athletic ability in escaping an Alabama Slam on the steel chair and instead, delivered an over-the-shoulder powerslam on that same chair en route to his first Extreme Rules victory. At this point, in my humble opinion, I think the ECW World Champion, Bobby Lashley is the most dominant of WWE's three world champions. I look forward to finding out who has the misfortune of stepping into the ring with Bobby at WrestleMania 23.
