Most Extreme Player for 2/8/07
February 7, 2007
As much as it pains me to do so, I am awarding this weeks MEP to Snitsky. When
we saw the "Snitsky is coming to ECW" video earlier in the show, I assumed
Snitsky would be making his ECW debut in an official match within the next few
weeks. What I did not expect was that the 6 foot 8 inch, 300-pound monster from
Pennsylvania coal country would try and take the ECW World Champion's head off
after Lashley had just endured a grueling match with Hardcore Holly. To make
matters worse, Holly then planted Lashley in the middle of the ring with an
Alabama Slam.
As we head into WrestleMania, we know that Batista will defend SmackDown's World Heavyweight Championship against Undertaker and that John Cena will defend Raw's WWE Championship against Shawn Michaels. What we do not know is who Lashley will be defending the ECW World Title against. It looks like Snitsky wants to muscle his way into the No. 1 contender's position as we head into the biggest day on the sports-entertainment calendar.
