WWE, comic books, Disney and movies. These are a few of Mike McAvennie’s favorite things. A former editor for DC Comics who has written several books on both comics and WWE, Mike has been a sports-entertainment fan since even before Bruno Sammartino successfully blocked Stan Stasiak’s chest-caving Heart Punch to win his second WWE Championship. He joined WWE in 2006, and currently manages WWE’s dedicated regional web sites in Germany, France, Latin America and the Middle East. Mike also has the distinction of having withstood being put in the Chicken Wing by a visiting Bob Backlund once upon a time. But yes, there were tears.
