NXT Tag Team Champions Blake & Murphy vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady
Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady will have the opportunity to prove they truly are the “realest guys in the room” at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable on May 20, when they challenge Blake & Murphy for the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Enzo & Big Cass became No. 1 contenders for the titles by defeating former champions The Lucha Dragons on March 11, quickly drawing the ire of Blake & Murphy. Rather than focus on their top challengers, the champions began to focus their attention on their rival’s running buddy, the beautiful Carmella. The Princess of Staten Island got a little too close to the action a few weeks later, when she was knocked off the ring apron during a match between Cassady and Blake.

The NXT Tag Team Champions spent the next several weeks trying to woo the bombshell, presenting her with lavish gifts of jewelry and flowers, even serenading the Diva, much to the chagrin of Amore & Cassady. Though their overtures went unrequited, Blake & Murphy persisted, and it cost them a non-title match against Enzo & Big Cass, losing after Murphy spent a little too much time blowing kisses at Carmella.
Embarrassed by the loss, the NXT Tag Team Champions brutally attacked Amore & Cassady in front of Carmella on May 4, preventing the “realest guys in the room” from taking part in their scheduled match. Blake & Murphy’s meddling didn’t stop with their challengers, though. The champions interrupted Carmella’s bout against Alexa Bliss, distracting the Princess of Staten Island and costing her the matchup. After the bell, a furious Carmella vowed that Enzo & Cass would be walking out of TakeOver with the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Will Carmella’s promise come true, or will Blake & Murphy show that they’re not “sawft”? Find out at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, live on WWE Network on Wednesday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT!
