Tommaso Ciampa resumes Twitter savagery against Johnny Gargano
Though Tommaso Ciampa was silent for WWE.com cameras in the immediate aftermath of his beatdown of Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, he’s kept anything but a low profile on Twitter, at least as far as his ex-teammate is concerned.
Ever since his coldblooded ambush on Johnny Wrestling in Philly, the self-proclaimed Blackheart has ramped up his mudslinging on social media.
For example, while Gargano received near-universal praise for his gutsy, if losing, performance against NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas in an early Match of the Year candidate, Ciampa suggested the true five-star rating belonged to the exchange that occurred after the bell:
Pouring salt on Gargano’s wounds, Ciampa then used his and Gargano's debut Mattel action figures to reenact the moment:
Johnny Wrestling finally broke his silence regarding Ciampa’s TakeOver attack on Wednesday night’s NXT, calling out Ciampa by name and demanding that he face him man-to-man.
It didn’t take long for Ciampa to respond:
The Blackheart, however, wasn’t done for the night. After Gargano agreed to risk his NXT career for one final NXT Title Match against Almas, Ciampa made clear what he thought of Johnny Wrestling’s bold decision:
As the NXT Universe eagerly awaits the long-anticipated showdown between Gargano and Ciampa, safe to say it’s worth keeping an eye on The Blackheart’s sinister social media posts.
