Rhea Ripley acknowledged that her NXT Women's Title defense against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania will be the biggest match of her career, but this week may have been a wake-up call as to what's truly in store for her.
Flair confronted The Nightmare and unsurprisingly given the tension in recent weeks, the situation quickly exploded into fisticuffs.
The Queen eventually floored Ripley with a massive boot to the face before locking her in the Figure Four — applied in extra excruciating fashion with The Nightmare's legs wrapped around the steel post until the officials forced her to let go.
Charlotte relished a moment with Ripley's title before exiting, perhaps giving the fans a taste of what to expect on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
