Though Danny Burch’s tag team partner Oney Lorcan is on the shelf due to an injury suffered at TakeOver: Chicago II (Burch told Cathy Kelley that Lorcan is looking at three months on the sideline), the British Superstar did not back down when Undisputed ERA attempted to shame him in the wake of Burch & Lorcan’s loss to Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly in Chi-Town. NXT North American Champion Adam Cole took offense to Burch reminding Undisputed ERA of their own recent struggles (including Strong & O’Reilly’s NXT Tag Team Title loss in London and Burch pinning O’Reilly in six-man tag team action weeks back), and he accused Burch & Lorcan of having inflated egos. That prompted Burch to challenge The Panama City Playboy to a match, and though Cole scoffed at the suggestion, NXT General Manager William Regal did not, scheduling the match for next week.
