Tonight on WWE Network, Liv Morgan faces the toughest test of her young career, when she steps in the ring with NXT Women’s Champion Asuka.

The Empress of Tomorrow boldly stated in an interview with Tom Phillips that no woman in NXT is ready to face her, a statement that Morgan took umbrage with. After a victory over Rachael Fazio two weeks ago, the confident New Jersey native called Asuka out, leading many to wonder if the rookie was getting in over her head.

Last week, Morgan continued to say she’s ready to put in the work to take down the champion, but Asuka confronted the upstart. The undefeated Empress of Tomorrow didn’t mince words, telling Morgan, “You think you’re ready? Let’s find out.” With those last three words, a devilish smile crossed the NXT Women’s Champion’s face, which has spelled doom for all of Asuka’s foes thus far.
