Thanks to Bayley’s return from injury and the historic WWE Draft, NXT’s Women’s division has undergone some pretty big changes over the past few weeks. The one constant through all the turmoil, however, has been NXT Women’s Champion Asuka. The Japanese Superstar has remained defiant in the face of turmoil and proven to be a more-than-worthy champion since claiming the prized possession from Bayley back at NXT TakeOver: Dallas.

Last week, when asked who she would prefer to defend her NXT Women’s Championship against, Bayley or Nia Jax, The Empress of Tomorrow seemed more than happy to fight both competitors. Yet, will General Manager William Regal feel the same way? Was Bayley’s impressive victory over the intimidating Jax —coupled with the fact that Jax is now a member of Raw — position the fun-loving Superstar as the new No. 1 contender? Or, will a new Superstar emerge to bypass Bayley and challenge Asuka’s throne?
