American Alpha is out for retribution – and the NXT Tag Team Championship – when they challenge The Revival in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match this Wednesday on WWE Network.

The rivalry between the two teams dates back to NXT TakeOver: Dallas, when Jason Jordan & Chad Gable dethroned Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder to take the titles and kick their WrestleMania Week off in grand fashion. The road to the titles was long and arduous for American Alpha, but their time on top of the mountain would be short-lived.

Just two months later, at NXT TakeOver: The End of the Beginning, The Revival got their automatic rematch and made the most of it, connecting with the Shatter Machine on Jordan to become the first duo to hold the NXT Tag Team Titles on two separate occasions. American Alpha’s rough night continued with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering unleashing The Authors of Pain on Jordan & Gable, ensuring it would be a night they wouldn’t forget.

Despite the massive monsters lurking over their (and the rest of the NXT tag team division’s) shoulders, American Alpha is more determined than ever to regain the titles they worked so hard to capture.
