WWE MMC preview, Oct. 9, 2018: Monster Eclipse vs. B’N’B; Fenomenal Flair vs. Fabulous Truth
After picking up a huge win in their first outing one week ago, Finn Bálor & Bayley return to WWE Mixed Match Challenge this week to battle another 1-0 team, the powerhouse tandem of Braun Strowman & Ember Moon. Meanwhile, the 1-0 duo of WWE Champion AJ Styles & Charlotte Flair will go to war against R-Truth & Carmella, who are 0-1. The fourth week of WWE MMC Season 2 airs tonight, streaming LIVE at 10 ET/7 PT on Facebook Watch, immediately after SmackDown LIVE.
Finn Bálor & Bayley turned some heads with an impressive showing last week against Mahalicia, using the strong bond they formed during their WWE NXT days to secure the big victory. Now, they’ll come face-to-face with Monster Eclipse. Braun Strowman & Ember Moon bested Team Pawz in Week 1 with a show of dominance that was reminiscent of Team Little Big, The Monster Among Men’s tag team last season with Alexa Bliss. It’s safe to say that B’N’B will need more than good chemistry and a good hug to walk out of this week’s episode 2-0.
In the second match of the night, the exciting team of Charlotte Flair & AJ Styles will look to follow up their Week 1 victory over Day One Glow with another win against The Fabulous Truth. Though they seemingly represent one of the competition’s strangest pairings, Carmella & Truth have quickly shown some impressive chemistry in MMC and on SmackDown LIVE. And now that they have worked to “tweak” their tandem following their loss to Team Awe-ska two weeks ago, they feel confident that they are headed for a big win in Week 4. Whether they tweaked their game plan enough to overcome The Queen and The Phenomenal WWE Champion, however, remains to be seen.
An exciting new season of WWE Mixed Match Challenge streams live every week in the United States and for the first time in Germany, Mexico, Australia, France, Indonesia, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam and Brazil. The 14-episode series airs on Facebook Watch and features WWE Superstars from Raw and SmackDown LIVE competing in a round robin-style competition in which all teams will face each other, with each match following traditional Mixed Tag Team Match rules: When tagged, male Superstars face off with the opposing team’s male competitor, and female Superstars battle fellow female competitors.
Find out which teams will be victorious when the ground-breaking second season of WWE Mixed Match Challenge reaches its fourth week, streaming LIVE exclusively on Facebook Watch immediately after SmackDown LIVE, tonight at 10 ET/7 PT, with a special WWE MMC Pre-Show at 9:50 ET.
