Ari Sterling def. Asher Hale

If his first few weeks on the purple brand are any indication, Ari Sterling doesn’t seem likely to dwell on the past.

Seven days after suffering his first defeat in a barnburner against former Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese, Sterling bounced back to reenter the winner’s circle at the expense of fellow newcomer Asher Hale.

In a frenetically paced bout filled with trash talk in both directions, Hale became the first Superstar to evade Sterling’s inside-out moonsault, and he followed up by blasting his foe with a running knee from the apron to the ringside floor.

After being on the defensive for some time, Sterling clocked Hale with a desperation Pele kick and a savage knee strike to the jaw before pinning his opponent by planting him face-first into the canvas.

Ikemen Jiro & August Grey def. The Bollywood Boyz

Not only is Ikemen Jiro 2-0 since arriving on 205 Live and pairing up with August Grey, but the eccentric newcomer has yet to remove his jacket while competing.

Against The Bollywood Boyz, Jiro once again wowed the WWE Universe with an arsenal that included a second-rope moonsault, several blistering palm strikes and a reverse hurricanrana from the top rope.

Jiro and Grey were in total control until Samir Singh yanked his brother out of the way of a hard-charging Grey, causing The Life of the Party to smash shoulder-first into the ring post.

After taking a beating from The Bollywood Boyz, Grey finally made a lunging tag to Jiro, who hit the ring like a ball of fire and claimed the win for his squad by blasting Sunil with the Ikemen Slash, a vicious knee strike.
