In his first appearance since WWE Extreme Rules, Austin Aries is confronted by Tony Nese.

Last week on WWE 205 Live, Austin Aries made his first appearance since losing to WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville in a grueling Submission Match. A-Double told the WWE Universe that following his failed challenges for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, nagging injuries have left uncertainty about his future. This prompted “The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese to make his way to the ring and confront Aries.

Nese explained that he was the future of WWE 205 Live and responded to Aries’ insults by preparing to get physical. This prompted Gentleman Jack Gallagher to come to Aries’ defense, expressing his admiration for A-Double. The British Superstar then fended off an attack from “The Premier Athlete,” removing him from the ring.

In recent months, Gallagher and Aries have been close allies and even tag team partners, thus with A-Double injured, the British gentleman will step up and face Nese to truly determine who has better prospects for the future in the Cruiserweight division.
