Jenny McCarthy encourages our fans to support Generation Rescue
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Jenny McCarthy stepped into the WWE ring at Saturday Night's Main Event to encourage the WWE Universe to help Generation Rescue fight autism.
"I am so excited to be here at WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event. For the last two weeks, WWE has done an amazing job of raising awareness about autism and a charity that is very close to my heart -- Generation Rescue," said the actress, spokeswoman and mother.
"Autism is the fastest growing neurological disorder today, affecting over a million Americans, including my little boy, Evan. But we can do something about it! Together the tag team of WWE and Generation Rescue can and will lay the SmackDown on autism," she said.
McCarthy encouraged the WWE Universe to learn more about autism and make a donation to Generation Rescue at WWE.com.
"I beg you, please, we need all the help we can get! …" she urged our fans.
Check out WWE.com's Generation Rescue site to make a donation, watch Superstars' and Divas' messages of support and learn more about the neurological disorder now.
"I want to thank the entire WWE Universe for your support. Thank you so much, you guys!" McCarthy said, blowing a kiss to the Verizon Center crowd.
