New York's My9 and WWE are hosting a "My9 SmackDown Block Party" this Friday, from 6 - 10 a.m. ET for the WWE Universe to celebrate the launch of SmackDown on MyNetwork TV this Friday night. Joining the celebration will be SmackDown Superstars Jeff Hardy, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, who will be on-hand to sign autographs and greet fans.

The "My9 SmackDown Block Party" (1211 Avenue of the Americas between 47th and 48th Streets in New York), will also give WWE fans the opportunity to enjoy fun and family-friendly activities such as "Extreme Entrance," where fans can act out their favorite Superstar entrances and take home a DVD of the experience; exclusive SmackDown airbrushed tattoos; copies of the SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 video game, and more.

Sponsored by My9, along with local radio stations 101.9 RXP and Hot 97, Fox 5's Good Day New York will also be onsite with weatherman Mike Woods. My9 is also conducting an "Are You My9's Biggest SmackDown Fan?" contest, where fans will have the opportunity to submit photos and text in telling My9 and WWE why they are the biggest SmackDown fan. Nine finalists will be sent to the Block Party dressed as their favorite WWE Superstar or Diva. Hardy, Hawkins and Ryder will judge the contest and decide just who the Biggest SmackDown Fan is. The winner will receive a trip for two to Survivor Series on Sunday, Nov. 23 in Boston.

So come on out this Friday at 6 a.m. to the "My9 SmackDown Launch Party" in New York to help WWE and My9 celebrate SmackDown's move to MyNetwork TV.
