AJ Styles to defend the WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose next week on SmackDown LIVE

Team Blue General Manager Daniel Bryan announced that on next week’s SmackDown LIVE, AJ Styles will defend the WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose.

Styles won the championship by controversially defeating Ambrose with a low-blow at Backlash. However, after Ambrose defeated John Cena on SmackDown LIVE, Bryan announced that The Lunatic Fringe would get his previously promised one-on-one rematch for the title next week!
