Team Mexico’s Raul Jimenez channels Sin Cara in advance of the 2018 FIFA World Cup

In the FIFA World Cup, you need stamina, agility and no small amount of heart. So it came as no surprise when Team Mexico forward Raul Jimenez donned a custom version of acclaimed Mexican WWE Superstar Sin Cara’s signature mask for a FIFA photo shoot before this year’s tournament begins this Thursday in Russia. The mask was one of 10 custom masks sent to Jimenez and his teammates earlier this month by The International Sensation himself, who is currently in recovery after a devious attack by Andrade “Cien” Almas last Tuesday night.
The photo has been racking up a staggering amount of likes and comments ever since it appeared on the FIFA Instagram account earlier today.
Jimenez and the rest of Team Mexico take on 2014 FIFA World Cup Champions Team Germany in their opening group stage match of this year’s tourney this Sunday.
