SmackDown Five-Point Preview: Dec. 3, 2015
SmackDown forecast: Extreme with a high chance of bedlam
Monday night on Raw, Tommy Dreamer returned to action to help The Dudley Boyz take on The Wyatt Family’s Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan & Luke Harper in a Six-Man Tag Team Match! And though Bray Wyatt ordered his Family to “Get the tables,” it was ultimately The Eater of Worlds who ended up eating splinters.
Tonight at 8/7 C on Syfy, Wyatt will go one-on-one with D-Von Dudley on SmackDown? Folks, between the reemergence of The Innovator of Violence, the Extreme nature of the Dudleys and the horrific brutality of the Wyatts, is there any way that this contest doesn’t turn into all-out anarchy? The real question might be: Will there be anything left of the ring when all is said and done?
So a Rabid Dog, a Lunatic Fringe and Uso Crazy walk onto SmackDown
On Monday, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus’ newly christened League of Nations — alongside WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day — reigned down international chaos in their 7-on-4 Handicap Match against Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & The Usos. In the wake of such dominance, WWE.com has learned that Reigns, Ambrose and The Usos will kick off SmackDown tonight.
Considering the overwhelming odds currently against them, questions arise as to how The Big Dog and his cohorts will prevail in the respective title matches at WWE TLC. At the upcoming WWE Network event, not only will Reigns attempt to capture the World Title from The Celtic Warrior in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match, but The Usos (and The Lucha Dragons) will both challenge The New Day a Tag Team Triple Threat Match for their titles and Ambrose will battle Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship.
With so much at stake in the coming weeks, just how will the four Superstars look to reassert themselves? Can they possible hope to survive in the face of such overwhelming opposition?
Will Breeze have a problem with heights?
Yes, Tyler Breeze is pretty. Yes, he’s gorgeous. Heck, he may be the very reason that Apple included a camera feature on the iPhone. But on Raw three days ago, one thing he was not … was a winner. That honor fell instead on Dolph Ziggler, who performed a painful makeover on Breeze’s win-loss record by introducing his adversary’s chiseled kisser to his boot.
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So tonight on Syfy, the WWE Universe will behold just whether Prince Pretty can get back on his game against Neville.
Is Becky gullible?
Woooo! On Raw, Divas Champion Charlotte overcame her best friend Becky Lynch with the help of a fake injury and The Dirtiest Player in the Game, her father Ric Flair. Although the two Divas seemed to address the issue moments after the contest, is the Lass Kicker actually being a little too trusting of her title-holding cohort and her controversial actions? And will any latent resentment transfer to volatile fall-out when the red-haired Diva battles Brie Bella tonight?
Will Rusev feed retribution to The Big Guy?
Following an incident on Raw — in which Rusev’s new fiancée Lana got too close to the action (and the steel ring steps) — Ryback won his match against The Bulgarian Brute via count-out.
Considering the known wrath of Rusev and his new affiliation with the League of Nations, it will be interesting to see how he will respond. Find out tonight at 8/7 C on SmackDown.
