SmackDown Five-Point Preview: Nov. 26, 2015
Who will challenge for the Intercontinental Championship?
Who is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time? If you asked Kevin Owens, it definitely begins and ends with him. Between the prizefighter’s cocky demeanor and brash attitude, there is no shortage of Superstars looking to silence the titleholder. But who will get the chance to fulfill this sought-after task? Well, we know it will either be a “lunatic,” a “showoff” or a “gorgeous one.”
Tonight at 8/7 C on Syfy, find out who will get the opportunity to challenge Fight Owens Fight for glory when Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Breeze battle in an Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match!
Is Roman Reigns thankful for his WWE World Heavyweight Title rematch?
Roman Reigns experienced an emotional roller coaster of epic proportions at Survivor Series when he finally realized his dream of becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion only to have it taken from him moments later when Sheamus successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. However, The Big Dog still has plenty to be thankful for, going into Thursday’s special Thanksgiving edition of SmackDown. For starters, the powerhouse Superstar will get a WWE World Heavyweight Title rematch at WWE TLC in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match.
With a second chance to avenge his heartbreaking defeat just over two weeks away, what will the determined Reigns have to say when he kicks off Thursday’s hottest show? Plus, will The Celtic Warrior and his foreign allies, King Barrett & Rusev, look to inflict some revenge against Reigns following his explosive chair attack to close out Raw Monday night? See what’s next for the escalating rivalry between the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the No. 1 contender tonight at 8/7 C on Syfy.
Will The Wyatts be seeing 3D?
The Wyatts rebounded from their Survivor Series defeat to The Brothers of Destruction when Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper produced a commanding victory over The Dudley Boyz on Raw. However, the win wasn’t enough for The New Face of Fear and the rest of his frightening family, who proceeded to deliver an unforgiving post-match assault on Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley.
Despite ending up on the receiving end of a brutal beating on Raw, The Dudleys have experience dishing out their own version of pain. But will the nine-time Tag Team Champions have The Wyatt Family’s Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan seeing 3D on SmackDown? Or will the black sheep and monstrous Rowan wreak havoc on Dudleyville?
Will ‘haters’ prosper?
Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter’s new relationship has plenty of people scratching their heads, including Colter’s former protégé, Jack Swagger. The Real American confronted the unexpected pair on Raw, prompting the United States Champion to walk away from a potential altercation.
Tonight on SmackDown, the “Essence of Excellence” will have to face his longtime rival when the former World Heavyweight Champions collide in a head-to-head clash. Will Swagger prove to be just another “hater” or will the Oklahoma native have the WWE Universe chanting “We the people!”?
A Divas showdown to be thankful for
Paige already competed in two grueling matches this week when she challenged Charlotte for the Divas Championship at Survivor Series in addition to a rematch the next night on Raw. So will The Diva of Tomorrow be able to survive a showdown with Becky Lynch on SmackDown?
Paige accuses Charlotte of cheating
The British beauty took the Divas Champion to the limit Monday night, locking her former friend in the PTO on top of the Raw announce table after both Divas were counted out. It was a familiar sight for the Lass kicking Lynch who was caught in an eerily similar situation during Raw in the United Kingdom just a couple weeks ago. Will the Irish Diva get retribution on her former Team PCB partner? Or will the former Divas titleholder deliver defeat to her fiery foe?
