SmackDown Five-Point Preview: June 11, 2015
What’s money between tag team partners?
This Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank, seven Superstars will compete in a career-changing contest for the coveted Money in the Bank contract. But before they battle for WWE’s most prized contract — which provides the bearer a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at any time of their choosing during the next year — six of the bout’s participants will clash in a huge Six-Man Tag Team Match on SmackDown.
Don’t miss a potentially chaotic showdown when Roman Reigns, Randy Orton & Neville battle Sheamus, Kane & Kofi Kingston on Thursday’s hottest show. Can these Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match combatants work with their respective tag partners on SmackDown long enough to make it to this Sunday’s show in one piece? Plus, will the seventh Contract Ladder Match Superstar, Dolph Ziggler, look to make his presence felt? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on Syfy.
Dean Ambrose takes the party to SmackDown
Dean Ambrose had a fun-filled night on Monday, taking the WWE World Heavyweight Title on a tour of New Orleans before acquiring a ringside seat for Raw, where he went on to humiliate Seth Rollins by causing The Architect to lose to J&J Security. So what does the unpredictable Ambrose have in store on SmackDown tonight at 8/7 C on Syfy? Well, WWE.com has learned that WWE’s unstable Superstar will be kicking off Thursday’s hottest show. After that, it’s anybody’s guess.
After ruining Rollins’ night on Raw, will Ambrose continue to test his luck and push his Money in the Bank opponent’s buttons? See what antics The Lunatic Fringe will be up to when he invades SmackDown just three days before challenging his former Shield “brother” for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Ladder Match.
Can The Big Guy silence The Miz’s big mouth?
Ryback went through five other Superstars inside 10 tons of steel at Elimination Chamber to claim his first Intercontinental Championship. Unfortunately for The Big Guy, that may seem like a small task compared to the giant challenge he faces this Sunday at Money in the Bank when he takes on Big Show.
Before The Human Wrecking Ball defends his title against The World’s Largest Athlete, he must first attempt another seemingly insurmountable obstacle … shutting up The Miz. Can WWE’s Intercontinental Champion defeat the outspoken Awesome One on SmackDown? And will Big Show look to deliver payback on the titleholder after suffering a Shell Shocked on Monday’s Raw?
Will Seth Rollins continue to do everything on his own?
After proudly proclaiming that he got to his current spot in WWE by himself, Seth Rollins finally got a taste of what it’s like without J&J Security by his side, and it wasn’t pretty. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion lost to his security team in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match on Raw before getting hit with a Dirty Deeds from Dean Ambrose.
Was Monday night’s upset loss to his security detail enough to change Rollins’ thinking about doing everything on his own? With just three days left before his WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match against The Lunatic Fringe and the championship still in the possession of the unstable Superstar, will we see The Architect seek help or will he fight this battle on his own?
King Barrett runs into a Real American
This Sunday on the Money in the Bank Kickoff, King Barrett will battle R-Truth in a must-see matchup. But before the British brawler steps foot in the ring with the rapping Superstar, he must first get past Jack Swagger on SmackDown.
Can WWE’s King of the Ring overcome the former Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner? Or will the royal Superstar get stopped by a Real American roadblock? Also, will we see the erratic R-Truth try to get the upper hand on his Money in the Bank opponent before their showdown on Sunday? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on Syfy.
