SmackDown Five-Point Preview: May 14, 2015
There must be a winner … and a loser
Monday night, Kane and Roman Reigns never made it to the ring for their match after battling ringside in a frenzied scene. Thursday night on SmackDown, the two behemoths will square off again, but this time there must be a winner by either pinfall or submission.
Watch: Triple H raises the stakes for Kane at WWE Payback
Who will reign supreme when two of WWE’s biggest Superstars collide? And with WWE’s Director of Operations learning on Raw that his job will depend on Seth Rollins’ success at WWE Payback, will the Corporate Demon take extreme measures on SmackDown to help preserve his status with The Authority?

Will Wyatt respond?
After weeks of being terrorized by The New Face of Fear, Ryback gained retribution on Raw when he attacked Bray Wyatt in a powerful display. The Big Guy let his actions do the talking, sending The Eater of Worlds scurrying away. We have assuredly not seen the last of the enigmatic Wyatt, though. Will we see the creepy Superstar respond with his own forceful attack on SmackDown?
Plus, Ryback and Wyatt will settle their differences inside the squared circle this Sunday at WWE Payback, as WWE.com reported earlier this week. With the two hulking competitors set to clash in just a few days, which Superstar will look to inflict a final dose of fear before Payback?
Will Ambrose bring instability to SmackDown?
With SmackDown representing the final stop before this Sunday’s huge WWE World Heavyweight Title Fatal-4 Way Match, what bedlam will we see unfold as the contest’s competitors look to jockey for position? On Raw, we saw Dean Ambrose deliver Dirty Deeds to his friend Roman Reigns, making us wonder what could be in store for the former Shield “brothers” Thursday night. Will The Big Dog look for payback? And will we see any of the Fatal 4-Way competitors look to strike a final time before Sunday’s epic showdown? Don’t miss SmackDown as The Lunatic Fringe kicks off Thursday’s hottest show.
Can Neville put on an uplifting performance?
Just days before Neville attempts to take down King Barrett at WWE Payback, The Man That Gravity Forgot will battle Bo Dallas. Can The New Sensation soar above the inspirational Dallas? Or will the smiling Superstar ground Neville? Also, will WWE’s King of the Ring remind Neville of the power of the Bull Hammer Elbow before they battle at Payback?

Can Kidd outlast Kingston?
This Sunday at WWE Payback, Tyson Kidd & Cesaro will challenge The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Titles in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, but before these two talented teams battle it out, Kidd and Kingston will square off on SmacKDown. Both tag teams will look to gain the upper hand before Payback, as the Hart Dungeon graduate steps inside the ring with The Dreadlocked Dynamo. Don’t miss this potentially epic clash between two of WWE’s best in-ring competitors, Thursday night at 8/7 C on Syfy.
