SmackDown Five-Point Preview: July 25, 2014
Will No Disqualification bring Ambrose and Cesaro to their breaking points?
Fresh off the heels of stating that he was no longer a “Paul Heyman Guy” and that he wanted to be more closely associated with The Authority on Raw, Cesaro is now presented with a golden opportunity to eliminate one of The Authority’s main foes, Dean Ambrose, on SmackDown.
The devil and Dean Ambrose | Ambrose loses it at Battleground
After a match this past Monday on Raw between the two ended in disqualification when Ambrose whaled on Cesaro’s shoulder with a steel chair, the two rising stars will now meet on SmackDown in a contest where anything goes.
As Cesaro attempts to shine bright in The Authority’s eyes, on the other side of the coin, The Lunatic Fringe gets the chance to take out even more of his Authority-induced aggression against a man who now claims he wants in their fold. No Disqualification is an environment in which Ambrose thrives; however, he will surely have to keep an eye out for Seth Rollins after their exchange at WWE Battleground this past Sunday.
Who will prevail in this all-out war? Find out tonight on SmackDown!
Can The Mexican Aristocrat slow down a roaring Reigns?
Following a tumultuous 24-hour stretch for Roman Reigns spanning from WWE Battleground to Raw, he must now re-focus as he squares off with Alberto Del Rio on SmackDown.
WWE Battleground Fatal 4-Way results | 50 greatest WWE Title Matches
Reigns was a second away from the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions on Sunday, and followed that by making a huge impact on Raw, when he not only defeated Randy Orton and Kane in a Handicap Match, but then attacked Orton during Triple H’s SummerSlam announcement.
However, he cannot overlook Del Rio, who after coming incredibly close to both the WWE World Heavyweight & Intercontinental Championships in recent months, is surely looking to make a statement against the likes of someone of Reigns’ caliber.
Will the Truth hurt?
After brutally taking Chris Jericho out with a Sister Abagail into a steel locker on Monday, the Man of a Thousand Truths now faces R-Truth on SmackDown.

What will Paige do next?
Paige shocked the entire WWE Universe on Raw with her aggressive streak and dominant demeanor when she blindsided Divas Champion AJ Lee following their tag team match this past Monday on Raw.
AJ vs. Paige WWE Battleground results | Do not underestimate Paige

The Usos defend their Tag Team Titles
Can Jimmy & Jey Uso continue their incredible string of victories as they take on all comers in the Tag Team division, or can Ryback & Curtis Axel get a huge victory over the champions and lay claim to the next title shot? Find out tonight on SmackDown, 8/7 CT on SyFy!
