SmackDown Five-Point Preview: June 27, 2014
Can Reigns stop the Demon Kane in his tracks?
With Money in the Bank imminent, Roman Reigns' actions made a profound statement loud and clear on Raw this past Monday night. That statement being no one will deter him from becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion this Sunday, not even Demon Kane.
Seconds after The Devil's Favorite Demon cleared house of the WWE World Heavyweight Title Ladder Match competitors (including Reigns), COO Triple H dropped a bombshell: Kane will be the eighth competitor in the unprecedented showdown! Feeling he should weigh in, Reigns recovered to welcome the newest entrant to the contest with a vicious Spear.
As a result, Kane will battle Reigns in SmackDown's main event tonight! Considering how volatile things have been in recent weeks and how dangerous both competitors are, it will be interesting to see if their fellow hopefuls will play a part in the outcome of this explosive encounter.
Will Sheamus deliver a creepy Brogue Kick to The New Face of Fear?
Speaking of the combatants in the WWE Word Heavyweight Championship Match, Bray Wyatt will also journey to SmackDown en route to the Money in the Bank clash to battle Sheamus tonight.
The Celtic Warrior and The Eater of Worlds have crossed paths multiple times over recent weeks, but now, with just two days before one of the biggest matches of their respective careers, both warriors will unequivocally get the chance to gain major momentum ... if they can make it out of the match in one piece, that is.
Who will be on the Money on SmackDown?
Continuing the trend of Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match contenders looking to prove themselves, tonight’s SmackDown will see Dolph Ziggler team with the electrifying Rob Van Dam to take on the powerful tandem of Cesaro & Alberto Del Rio.
With a guaranteed World Title contract hanging in the balance this Sunday, will these four competitors be able to put the World Heavyweight Championship out of their minds long enough to work as cohesive units or will the looming pressure of Sunday's epic cause rifts that cannot be ignored?

Can the Funkadactyls Turn the Paige in their Diva Drama?
This Sunday at Money in the Bank, Paige will defend her Divas Championship against Naomi, but she will first have to focus on Naomi’s fellow Funkadactyl, Cameron, tonight on SmackDown.
Cameron has been quite vocal lately, expressing her opinion that she doesn’t find Paige to be a very impressive titleholder and that she believes that she, not Naomi, should be the No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship. This has led to several hard-hitting encounters between Cameron and Paige in recent weeks and also some dissension among the Funkadactyls.
The question is, will Cameron weaken Paige before her partner’s title match on Sunday or simply add more fuel to an already explosive situation?
Can Anyone Stop Rusev?
The mighty Rusev has been on an absolute tear since arriving in WWE several months ago. He has made quick work out of almost all of his opponents and he, along with The Ravishing Russian Lana, have antagonized the WWE Universe with their scorn for the United States.
Will the dynamic Sin Cara be able to slow down Rusev’s reign of terror tonight? Plus, will we see payback from Big E who Rusev blindsided this past Monday on Raw? Don’t miss SmackDown tonight on Syfy at 8/7 CT to find out!
