SmackDown Five-Point Preview: December 6, 2013
Which Shield member will Punk face tonight?
On Raw, The Authority’s Director of Operations, Kane, informed CM Punk that he will face all three members of The Shield in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match at WWE TLC. In response, The Best in the World acknowledged that, while he may be destined to go down in the pay-per-view showdown, the only question on his mind is how many members of The Hounds of Justice he will take with him.
What part will The Shield play in the 2013 Slammy Awards
Tonight on SmackDown at 8/7 on Syfy, The Second City Saint will take the first step toward his moment of reckoning when he faces Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins or United States Champion Dean Ambrose in one-on-one action. But, which of these dangerous adversaries will it be?
How will The Face of WWE choose to face the music?
At WWE TLC, history will be made when WWE Champion Randy Orton battles World Heavyweight Champion John Cena – with both titles literally hanging in the balance. And, as WWE COO Triple H has guaranteed, there will be one champion when the dust clears.
Triple H WWE.com Exclusive: Is Orton vs. Cena the Biggest Match in History?
In spite of the sheer magnitude of such an epic contest, The Viper does not seem too thrilled about it. To that point, Raw proved that Monday just wasn’t Orton’s day. In addition to the appearance of friction between Orton and his established supporters, The Authority, The Champ put WWE’s Apex Predator through a table with the Attitude Adjustment during the pay-per-view contract signing amidst an out-of-control flurry of tables, ladders and chairs.
Find out how the dangerous 11-time World Champion will respond when he opens SmackDown, tonight at 8/7 CT!
Is Bryan marked for mayhem … or membership?
In typical creepy fashion, Bray Wyatt “assured” the WWE Universe that when he and his disciples snatched up Daniel Bryan two weeks ago on Raw and dumped him in the parking lot, Bryan “would be safe with [them]”and that The Beard, in effect, had entered the lion’s den a man, but would emerge a monster.
Following Bryan’s defeat of Erick Rowan on Monday, however, the unpredictable E ater of Worlds seemed to be almost courting the former WWE Champion rather than prophesying his destruction. If that wasn’t enough, Director of Operations Kane informed his former Team Hell No cohort that he will battle all three of the Wyatts at WWE TLC.
As the lights go up on SmackDown, it will be interesting to see how these new circumstances play into Bray Wyatt’s strange fascination with WWE’s “YES!” man.
Who’s angrier: Kingston or Del Rio?
After falling to Ryback & Curtis Axel on Raw, the truce between Kofi Kingston & The Miz met with a humiliating end when the Awesome One slapped The Wildcat in the middle of the ring. That same night, 4-time World Champion Alberto Del Rio hit a major detour in his path towards claiming another future title opportunity when the high-flying Sin Cara handed him an embarrassing defeat.
Tonight, the two beaten Superstars will look to get back on track in a fierce battle against each other. But whose fury will carry them into the black once more?
Pink and Black or Samoan superiority?
Speaking of the black, the “Pink and Black” of third-generation Diva Natalya was in full swing Monday when she pinned Divas Champion AJ Lee in 6-Divas Tag Team action.

Tonight, however, could prove to be a much different result when she faces the vicious daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka, Tamina! See who will triumph in this showdown of squared-circle legacy on Friday night’s best show, only on Syfy!
