SmackDown Five-Point Preview: Oct. 18, 2013
Will Punk suffer a Heyman Guy SmackDown?
After winning the Beat the Clock Challenge on Raw that allowed him to pull Paul Heyman into his pay-per-view showdown against Ryback – transforming the contest into a 2-on-1 Handicap Hell in a Cell Match – CM Punk is scheduled to make a rare appearance on SmackDown with a match against Big E Langston tonight.
Who are the rulers of "Hell"? | Ryback's meanest moments
Battling an up-and-comer the size of Langston will certainly be a tough challenge heading into his career-changing contest against “The Big Guy” and the mad scientist. And, one has to wonder where Heyman and company will be lurking while The Second City Saint is plying his trade. There’s no doubt that the scheming advocate is going to be looking to exact a measure of retribution on his “prodigal son” – the question is, how is he going to do it? Find out tonight at 8/7 CT, only on Syfy!
Will the furious giant once again show “Authority”?
If Big Show’s chaotic actions on Raw in recent weeks have demonstrated anything, it’s that the fired giant has a talent for getting into arenas he’s not supposed to be in – no small feat considering the sheer size of the former Superstar. On the past two episodes of WWE’s flagship show, The World’s Largest Athlete has knocked out WWE COO Triple H and steamrolled The Shield in order to cost Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Clearly, after weeks of abuse at the hands of The Authority, Big Show looks more than willing to make life difficult for WWE’s top brass and anyone else that gets in his way, which could very well mean a gigantic surprise appearance tonight on SmackDown.
Will success mean failure for the new WWE Tag Team Champions?
Cody Rhodes & Goldust are riding high after overcoming The Shield on Monday to capture the illustrious WWE Tag Team Titles. However – in addition to the infectious ire of the treacherous former titleholders – you can bet their monumental victory will serve to further fuel the brothers’ ongoing problems with The Authority. Sometimes, it simply doesn’t pay to be golden. The question is whether tonight’s episode of the blue brand will prove to be one of those times.
Will The Usos put on a fireworks display against The Real Americans?
Speaking of explosive Superstar combinations, the tag team division has truly moved into overdrive in recent months. And perhaps no team demonstrates that fast-paced style better than The Usos!
Tonight, the Samoan warriors will go to battle against The Real Americans, Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger, who look better than ever. Will The Usos come out on top? Or will Cesaro & Swagger make “patriotic” fireworks?
Can a banged-up Bella get payback on the Divas Champion?
Considering the beat down that Brie Bella received, compliments of Tamina Snuka and WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee on Monday Night, you can bet the future Mrs. Beard can’t wait to get her hands on the “Black Widow.” Fortunately for her, the two are scheduled to face off tonight!

With her sister Nikki back in her corner, and Tamina certainly occupying her usual spot in AJ’s, the field is evened out a little. But is Brie in any condition to compete? Or is she still feeling the effects from Monday Night? Find out tonight, only on Syfy!
