Booker T undergoes successful triceps surgery

WWE.com has learned SmackDown General Manager Booker T underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a partial distal triceps tear in his left arm. After tweeting his gratitude to the WWE Universe Tuesday night, the WWE Hall of Famer expects to be back on the blue brand very soon.
In recent weeks, the six-time World Champion has been noticeably absent from his post. In his place, Senior Advisor Theodore Long has been holding down the fort.
WWE.com wishes Booker a speedy recovery and will update this story as more details become available.
