Well, Zack Ryder had a hell of a week. The underdog from Long Island, New York, achieved his WrestleMania moment Sunday night by pushing The Miz off the rungs of a ladder to triumph in a 7-Man Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match — only to lose the coveted title the next night on Raw to The Awesome One.

Long Island Iced-Z’s defeat on Raw was not without its controversy, though, as the A-lister won the celebrated championship after Ryder got caught up watching a ringside altercation between his dad and Miz’s wife, Maryse. Speaking of Maryse, it seems as if the stunning blonde, who was right by her husband’s side for his in-ring victory celebration, will be accompanying the titleholder to the ring Thursday.

Yes, the five-time Intercontinental Champion will defend the title in a rematch against Ryder on the SmackDown stage. Can a determined Ryder become a two-time Intercontinental Champion? Or will Miz and Maryse continue to show they are a power couple not to be messed with?
