Shawn Michaels (spot No. 1) wins the Royal Rumble Match

Shawn Michaels showed why he's called "The Showstopper" in the 1995 Royal Rumble Match, entering at No. 1 and going on to win in a lightning-quick 60-second per entrant format. It was the first time a Superstar had ever gone the distance in the Rumble, as HBK last eliminated British Bulldog, who also began the match at slot No. 2. British Bulldog thought he had the match won when he powered Michaels over the top rope, but the resilient HBK held on and pulled himself from the brink of defeat.
