Redemption has never been so sweet for CM Punk as on Raw, when he and Kofi Kingston defeated Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase to become the new World Tag Team Champions.

Almost two months ago, Rhodes, DiBiase & Manu brutally attacked then-World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk allowing Randy Orton to punt him in the head. This sidelined Punk for the night and forced Raw General Manager Mike Adamle to replace the Straightedge Superstar in the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble at Unforgiven, ultimately costing Punk his gold.

On Raw, it was Punk's alliance with Kingston that proved more cohesive than that of the Priceless trio, allowing the former World Heavyweight Champion and his partner to turn the tables on Rhodes, DiBiase and Manu to capture the tag team gold.
