After weeks of being tortured by the tyrannical rule of SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero, Batista was drafted to Raw. The only regret of The Animal was that he wasn't able to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Edge to Raw with him.

Last week, in what could have only been described as karma, after he personally dismantled Edge upon his Raw intrusion, Batista watched CM Punk slowly make his way down to ringside with a referee and the Money in the Bank briefcase. Just moments later, Edge made his way up the ramp empty-handed while the new World Heavyweight Champion celebrated in the center of the ring.

This week, after a hard fought battle between four icons of sports-entertainment, it was Batista standing tall looking forward to a chance to regain gold in less than two weeks at The Great American Bush.
