Who might join WWE Payback's main event?

Roman Reigns and AJ Styles size each other up: SmackDown, April 7, 2016

The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion and his newly named No. 1 contender meet face-to-face in the SmackDown ring.

Even though he came up short in his WrestleMania debut against Chris Jericho, AJ Styles rebounded in a big way the next night on Raw, defeating Kevin Owens, Jericho and the returning Cesaro in a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the No. 1 contender to Roman Reigns’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Styles kept that momentum going on SmackDown, successfully teaming with The King of Swing to take on the first-ever Undisputed Champion and The Prizefighter in a tag team main event. As the Phenomenal One stated in an exclusive WWE.com interview with Michael Cole, he’s prepared to “react a little bit faster” and “hit a little bit harder” when he faces The Big Dog for WWE’s richest prize at WWE Payback.

However, that bout just might get a bit more crowded. If Sami Zayn can defeat Styles tonight on Raw, the anticipated WWE World Heavyweight Title clash could become a Triple Threat Match!
