Already facing neck surgery this Thursday to repair a lingering injury, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan's path back to the ring was set back even further thanks to a sudden attack by the Demon Kane less than an hour after he revealed his condition to the WWE Universe.

The attack sent Bryan to a local medical center, where he is currently undergoing tests to determine the extent of the damage caused by The Devil’s Favorite Demon. As WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann revealed on WWE Network's Raw Backstage Pass, the abrasions over Bryan’s body led medical officials to take the precaution of placing him on a stretcher, although a timetable for his recovery is uncertain as of yet.
