CM Punk receives stitches following confrontation with Brock Lesnar

"The Best in the World" CM Punk received four stitches in his chin following an intense physical confrontation with Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw, WWE.com has learned.

Backstage in Green Bay's Resch Center, WWE medical personnel tended to Punk's wound immediately after his ringside brawl with Lesnar. With less than two weeks before "The Best" clashes with "The Beast" at SummerSlam 2013, the stitched-up Straight Edge Superstar will enter Sacramento, Calif., next Monday night for a potential one-on-one encounter with Paul Heyman, who boldly challenged Punk moments after last night's scuffle.
