Raw Recall for Aug. 24, 2011
SAY WHAT?: ROAD WORRIER
"I just got a call from Canadian authorities. Kevin Nash has been in a car accident on the Yellowhead Parkway.”
- Mr. John Laurinitais, to WWE COO Triple H regarding Kevin Nash, prompting The Game to rush from the arena. Whether the Executive VP of Talent Relations was being truthful or not remains to be seen.
SHAME: DEL RIO SCARFS IT UP
Aye! Aye! Aye! WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio looked like a cowardly matador brandishing his pretentious white scarf and charging the ring to ambush John Cena. KUDOS: PREPARE FOR TAKEOFF
The high altitude duo of Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne overcame the powerful pairing of David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty to capture the WWE Tag Team Titles! Now, if they could only decide on what to call themselves. Like every great tag team, the two need a catchy moniker. Flight Club? Dreadlock & Load? Boom Raiders? Join the conversation and help the new champions decide.
